‘Leadership is the capacity to transform vision into reality’
St. Vincent Pallotti School, Besa, held its prestigious Investiture Ceremony for the session 2024-25 on 15th July 2024. This momentous day bestowed responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the school, enabling them to lead with commitment, confidence, and competence.
A week prior to the investiture ceremony, the student election campaign saw active participation from candidates who presented compelling visions to their peers. Under the supervision of the Liberty Club, students from standards VII to X seized the golden opportunity to exercise their fundamental right to vote, choosing their leaders with enthusiasm and responsibility.
The day of Investiture Ceremony was opened with an impressive march past, reflecting the disciplined spirit of the students. The newly elected student council members were then officially sworn in, receiving their badges and sashes from the school Manager, Rev. Father Anto Katharath, and the Principal, Rev. Father Joseph Koovely. The principal’s speech inspired the student leaders to embrace their roles with dedication and integrity.
Following the principal’s address, the Head Boy, Mast. Avnish Dhoble, and Head Girl, Ms. Dhristi Dhomne, led their cabinet in taking the oath, pledging to uphold their duties faithfully. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event’s success.
The newly appointed leaders are expected to set a positive example for their peers and work towards the betterment of the school community throughout their tenure.
